TOMBQUEST
2. The Tunnel
Abun ke slid down the steep passageway she didn't have time to scream or shout. The door which she had come through slammed shut, as if someone had closed it on her. She was scared and frightened.
She looked forward and there in the corner of the room was a wooden box. Abun Ke heard a scraping noise that sounded like something was locked in the box and trying to escape. She walked slowly forward and knelt down pulling the box towards her.
There was a deep hole positioned in the wall behind the box she couldn't figure out what it was. She walked forward and placed her hand in the hole it went further and further. Abun ke called out for Hathor to guide her through the tunnel. He answered her plea and gave her light. She knelt down and crawled slowly through the damp narrow tunnel. She thought she was never going to get through but her Ka gave her guidance. She felt something falling upon her feet it felt heavy and crumbly the tunnel was turning to dust. She struggled to get out and when she did she saw a large shadow of something in front of her. It led her to a small desolate room where there were bandages lying on the floor upon her feet.

In every corner she looked there were jars laid on shelves row upon row of them. There in a corner stood a door partly opened. Abun ke walked through the door. There in front of her stood four doors one on every side of the room. On each door there was a word - one was OAK, the other ASH, the next ELM and fourthly THORN.
Abun ke was puzzled which door to go through. The OAK door was thick and solid. The ASH door was moody grey and you could still see the wooden grain. The ELM door was plain, and the THORN was bushy.
