YEAR SIX POETRY
Metaphor Poems
My Sister
She is a silver birch tree,
long and white.
A nasty,vicious tiger,
always hungry and thirsty.
She is a set of drawers,
going in and out.
A bottle of lemonade,
fizzy as can be.
She is an undiscovered planet,
alone and upset.
A swimming pool,
wet and busy.
She is bookcase,
long and heavy.
A big,black cloud,
floating away in the blue sky.
She is a crayon,
been used all of the time.
A clock,
always staying 8.00 am.
She is a car,
rusty and old.
A pet bird,
noisy and hungry.
She is a spice girl,
always singing.

YEAR SIX POETRY
A book,
always being read.
She is a pencil,
always writing.
A rain drop,
patting on the floor.
She is blue,
as blue as blue can be.
A plane,
flying in the air.
She is a mask,
always scaring everyone.
A glass,
been broken like a broken heart.
She is a box,
hard but bendy.
A cupboard,
shining like the stars.
YEAH,That's my sister alright.
