Manchester Museum Visit

Mrs Jones's Class at Manchester Museum

On Tuesday we went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. it took us forever to get to the Experiment part because of all the ramps.Eventually my colleagues and I got to the top.There were lots of interesting things there we could try out..It is very interesting because it teaches you about materials, sound,light air,gravity and electricity.There are experiments that are quite difficult for younger children.The experiment I found most interesting had a large transparent box and someone presses a button,you come away from the box and the position you were in is shadowed on the box. Then we went to the power Hall and looked at the large machines before going on to the Aerospace museum to look at the old aeroplanes and the space exhibitions.We all had a go on the simulator.I felt really excited.It was as if we were in space but really we were on a space tour.
