Year 5 Visit
Wallerscote Children with their display.
On Tuesday the 23rd of June the year 5 class of Wallerscote County Primary adventured to Tabley House to go to the Cheshire Show as we had heard that Prince Charles was going to be there. He was and he came and talked to us!
Children with Prince Charles.
It was quite a hot day and we were all very excited. First we went to see the bulls and then we went to see a big fat tubby pig with six piglets. We then watched three more shows which were the parade and the Goat show followed by the horse parade which was very spectacular. After after this we went for our lunch. At lunch time we listened to the Weaverham School Choir. We went in to a tent where we got a free pen and pencil.
At 12:55 we watched some Falconry and a man picked a boy from the audience then he held a teddy and the Falcon caught it and then hetold us about the Eagle. We watched the paras letting people off very high scaffolding (with lots of safety equipment on), jump off. And that I must say it was an unforgettable experience.
The whole class throughly enjoyed themselves and would all go again if they could.
